|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed northern residents in a statement, saying that "there is no ceasefire in Lebanon." He added: "We continue to strike Hezbollah with force, and we will not stop until we restore your security. I have already brought four peace agreements with Arab states, and I intend to bring more. Real peace, peace from strength." Earlier, a senior Lebanese official told the Reuters news agency that Beirut wants a ceasefire during negotiations.
