Following the withdrawal of Yair Netanyahu's candidacy for the senior position in the World Zionist Organization, Likud has requested an injunction to stop the vote. The party stated that "the right-wing bloc has united and demands to stop the votes on a one-sided agreement by the left against the right. The entire bloc firmly believes that we must immediately return to the negotiation rooms and reach a wall-to-wall agreement as has been customary throughout the years. A unilateral agreement will almost certainly lead to the closure of national institutions due to the clash with the government." Minister Miki Zohar told ynet that "I did not give up on appointing Yair Netanyahu. Everything is open."
