Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, said his meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu in the U.S. "was very long, and we are very concerned." In an interview with ynet Studio, he added: "Despite the Prime Minister being attentive, he did not allocate time for sovereignty in the West Bank - this government might be signing off on the establishment of a Palestinian state - this is the next October 7." When asked if this was an attempt by the Prime Minister to "string along" the heads of the Yesha Council, he replied: "I hope not. We agreed that we might meet again later."
