MK Yuli Edelstein addressed Likud's decision to remove him from membership in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, stating: "The public already understands that my word is my word. If my only sin was standing by the Land of Israel and voting for applying sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, then I am proud of that - just as I am proud of preventing draft evasion and fighting for real Haredi enlistment." According to him, "Each such dismissal is a badge of moral honor for me. Whoever thinks this deters me is greatly mistaken."
