The IDF will soon define a new profile 70, between 64 and 72, which will give recruits who previously received a profile that only allowed them to be placed in rear positions the opportunity to undergo screening for combat units. According to the military, the goal is to improve the utilization of potential among new recruits. Staff work to examine the issue is being carried out in the Medical Corps and the Manpower Directorate, and is expected to soon mature and enter the initial screening stages (first order), as part of determining the military profile of each recruit.
