Yashar Chairman Gadi Eisenkot issued a statement in which he wrote that "no matter how you look at the numbers, a majority of Israeli citizens, by a margin of more than half a million votes, voted against the October 7 government and the draft evasion, and in favor of change." He added: "I intend to act to implement the clear parliamentary majority immediately. To work toward establishing a state commission of inquiry, promoting mandatory service for all and immediate action to expand and strengthen the number of IDF service members, proper compensation and recognition for those serving, canceling the judicial coup laws and more. Don't let anyone mislead you: in the State of Israel, the Knesset is what gives its confidence to the government, not the other way around."
