The Prosecution has filed an indictment with the District Court in Lod against an Israeli citizen, charging him with offenses of contact with a foreign agent and providing information to an enemy with intent to harm state security. According to the charges, during the war the accused maintained contact with the agent and transferred information to him. The accused immigrated to Israel from Iran in 1999 and was in a long-term relationship with an Iranian woman. During 2024, the accused met in Turkey with his partner and two Iranian regime officials, after which he maintained contact with an Iranian agent via Telegram and provided him with information. As part of this activity, the accused revealed, among other things, information about the flight path of drones from Israel to Iran during Operation "With a Lion".
