The Northern District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against a 25-year-old resident of Arraba, who was arrested on suspicion of attacking his brother with an axe at a construction site in Kibbutz Yiron. The report of the incident was received on October 8, when the attacked brother, a construction worker, was evacuated to Ziv Hospital in Safed in serious condition. The initial report raised suspicion that it was a workplace accident, but during searches at the scene, suspicion arose of a criminal incident, and in the initial investigation it became clear that the suspect in the attack was the victim's brother, who fled the scene and was found hiding in bushes. The investigation further revealed that the defendant struck his brother with an axe on the head, fled and called the police to report that he had killed his brother.
