The IDF and Shin Bet destroyed three weapons depots and a rocket launch pit across Gaza, from which fire was directed toward Israel during the war. Hamas and Islamic Jihad stored dozens of combat items including rockets, Kalashnikov rifles and additional combat equipment. An IDF spokesperson said that in recent times, Hamas terrorists were observed arriving at the depots and using the weapons inside for guard duty and to establish control in the Gaza Strip.
