The British High Court ruled that the decision by the British Trade Department to transfer spare parts for F-35 aircraft to Israel is legal. The court's decision came in response to a petition against the British government over the intention to export the spare parts to Israel, after Britain assessed that Israel is not committed to international humanitarian law. Despite this, the Defense Ministry in London decided that the transfer of parts is important for international security and disrupting their supply would undermine NATO and Britain's credibility in the eyes of the US.
