Salem Ibrahim Abu-Rqayeq has died from injuries sustained two weeks after being struck in a traffic accident. His cousin, Salim Eid Abu-Rqayeq, was also killed in the same accident. The accident occurred on the road leading to the Eastern Muslim Cemetery in Tel Sheva, when the two students were riding bicycles and were hit by a vehicle. Family members said: "The family is struggling to comprehend the magnitude of the tragedy, having lost two children within just two weeks. We have no words to describe the pain. Just days ago we said goodbye to Salim, and today we are saying goodbye to Salem. It is a pain that cannot be described in words."
