National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said that the decision to summon Prison Service Commissioner Kobi Yaakovi for a hearing, which was revealed on Ynetnews, harms state security. Ben-Gvir stated: "There is no other way to put it - the criminal Attorney General's Office is harming state security, knowingly, during wartime. The failed Ronen Bar, who was responsible for the October 7 massacre, remained in his position for two years, but the Prison Service commissioner who carried out tremendous reforms and is now actively dealing with detainees who spied for Iran - the criminal Attorney General's Office seeks to thwart."
