The Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 138-135 and took home court advantage in Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. The Knicks led the game from the second quarter and built a 17-point lead, but a tremendous comeback led by Aaron Nesmith (30 points) and an incredible basket by Tyrese Haliburton (31 points) forced overtime and decided the game. Jalen Brunson (43 points) and Karl-Anthony Towns (35 points) led the scoring for the losing team.
