Cpl. Yair Eliyahu, 19, from Ezer, a combat engineer in the Northern Brigade, was killed in an operational accident in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza Strip, the IDF spokesperson announced. During the incident, an engineering vehicle fell into a pit, and as a result of the fall, the engineering vehicle hit another vehicle operating nearby. Eliyahu, who was operating the second vehicle, was killed in the impact.
