Netanyahu: 'There was no malicious intent behind barring Latin Patriarch from Church of the Holy Sepulchre'

|
The office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the prevention of entry to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre of the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, by police. According to the office, "Iran has repeatedly attacked the holy sites of the three monotheistic religions in Jerusalem. There was no malicious intent whatsoever, only concern for his safety. Israel's security forces are preparing a plan that will allow church leaders to pray at the holy site in the coming days."
