Indictment: Nazareth mother of 4 spied for Iran, sent live location of refineries and base

|
The Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against Shumoua Abu Abed from Nazareth for committing security offenses on behalf of Iran. Abu Abed, a mother of four, was arrested in March after being suspected of committing security offenses involving contact with elements from an enemy state and carrying out missions under their direction in exchange for financial compensation. It was also revealed that Shumoua carried out the missions despite suspecting in the early stages of the contact that she was being operated by an Iranian agent. She received payment through a digital wallet accessed by investigators. The indictment stated that she photographed the Home Front Command base in Nazareth, the refineries, the Golani Memorial, the Amdocs building in Nazareth, and sent live locations of these sites.
