Hundreds of teenagers, reservists, preparatory academy cadets and alumni marched in a stretcher procession to the Knesset in protest of legislative efforts favoring ultra-Orthodox draft evaders. The initiative began with two alumni of the Hanton preparatory academy, Tomer Kreim and Itai Shaul, who were joined by cadets from various preparatory academies and organizations including the Scouts movement, the Mixed Preparatory Academies movement, the Kibbutz Movement, the Religious Kibbutz Movement, Generation in Reserve, the Next Generation Fund and Mothers at the Front.
