Effie Defrin made a statement about the IDF's activities on all fronts, claiming that the military "achieved all the objectives in Operation 'With Courage'" (the operation against Iran). Regarding the operations in the Gaza Strip, the IDF spokesman said that five divisions are operating simultaneously in the Strip: "IDF fighters are maneuvering with high intensity, professionally and effectively. We are fighting across most of Gaza's territory and have undermined Hamas's governance. We are preventing Hamas from returning to its power bases."
