Opposition leader Yair Lapid condemned the incitement against 'Democrats' party chairman Yair Golan at a conference at Kay College in Be'er Sheva, where he faced shouts of "traitor," including from National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. Lapid wrote on X: "Yair Golan is not a traitor and I strongly condemn the calls against him. In contrast, Itamar Ben-Gvir, a convicted criminal who supported terrorism and was National Security Minister on October 7, is dangerous to Israel's security and well-being."
