Hostages' families to Netanyahu: 'Don't torpedo the deal, we've already missed several opportunities'

|
Hostages' families spoke at a headquarters in Tel Aviv and called "not to torpedo the deal." Lishi Miran-Lavi, wife of Omri who is held captive in Gaza, said: "At least 42 hostages could have returned alive but were murdered in the Strip due to military pressure and foot-dragging by the Israeli government." Yehuda Cohen, father of captive soldier Nimrod, said that "Netanyahu is setting impossible conditions for the deal obviously to buy time and prolong the war to appease his messianic extremists in the government, Ben-Gvir and Smotrich." Bar, daughter of fallen hostage Meni Godard, said: "Again, partial deals were chosen and cultivated agreements were torpedoed. Even when there was already an agreed deal, it was stopped, and again we missed an opportunity to save lives."
