The head of the Russian delegation to talks with Ukraine in Turkey, Vladimir Medinsky, said that a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and his counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky will take place "only to sign documents, not for discussions." Additionally, the sides conducted a prisoner of war exchange, in which 1,200 were transferred from each side. The parties agreed to conduct another round, and Medinsky noted that Moscow "is ready to transfer the bodies of 3,000 Ukrainian soldiers." According to him, the Kremlin proposed declaring several "short ceasefires" and claimed that Russia returned Ukrainian children who were held in its territory to Ukraine.
