Singer Keren Peles' song was not selected to represent Greece in Eurovision and will not compete in the upcoming local preliminary contest. According to a report by "Euromix" website, the disqualification of Peles' song stemmed from an "internal local dispute" with the Greek producer who was Peles' partner alongside Israeli Tomer Biran. This will actually be Peles' first year in two years that she will not participate in the European song contest, after the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation set new rules preventing her from submitting a song this year. A statement from Keren Peles and Tomer Biran said: "We were informed today that there are internal issues at Greek ERT with the producer who was a co-writer, and at this stage we are less familiar with the details."
