Police and the Shin Bet arrested four residents of Segev Shalom on suspicion of planning to shoot at the police station in the town and carry out an attack at the central bus station in Be'er Sheva. The investigation revealed that the main suspect posted incitement content and support for terrorism on social networks. The arrests were carried out in May and June, and subsequently the Southern District Attorney's Office filed an indictment at the Be'er Sheva District Court against the four for conspiracy to commit an act of terrorism and training or instruction for terrorist purposes. The main defendant was additionally charged with offenses of incitement to terrorism and expressing identification with a terrorist organization. Some of the offenses were committed while they were minors.
