Following the report of a Palestinian who arrived with a knife at the Havat Hanina farm in Benjamin, police stated that the terrorist arrived at the location armed with a lighter, which he allegedly used to set fire to a vehicle belonging to the farm. The farm's residents approached the suspect, who began threatening them with a knife he was holding. In response, they struck the terrorist with their vehicle, thereby neutralizing the continued threat posed by his actions, with no casualties among them. Officers from the Benjamin station and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District arrived at the scene and opened an investigation into the incident.
