The prime minister's son, Yair Netanyahu, has been summoned to give an open testimony at Lahav 433 offices as part of the investigation into the diplomatic passport affair. At the center of the case is the suspicion of issuing diplomatic passports to those who were not eligible for them, as they did not meet the criteria for receiving a diplomatic passport. As part of the investigation, the police are examining all diplomatic passport issuances during Eli Cohen's tenure as foreign minister, including to the prime minister's son.
