Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa said in his speech at the UN General Assembly that "the Golan will remain Syrian territory, and all annexation decisions are null and void in accordance with UN resolutions." He added: "We reject Israel's attempts to impose facts on the ground and call on it to withdraw from our territory. We are committed to the 1974 agreement."
