Israel Fire and Rescue Authority spokesperson announced that seven firefighting teams from Nof Hagalil and Tiberias stations are battling a forest fire that broke out above the Iksal tunnels and is advancing toward "Mount Precipice." It was also reported that firefighting planes from the "Elad" firefighting squadron have joined the efforts. Shift commander Chief Fire Officer Shashi Sigawi said the fire started due to waste burning and is advancing on several fronts, including toward a truck parking lot.
