Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara (al-Jolani) addressed in a statement the violent clashes in his country's Druze stronghold and the Israeli intervention to protect them. According to him, "The Israeli entity seeks to turn our land into an arena of chaos. The Syrian people are always ready to fight for their dignity. We are the children of this land and capable of overcoming Israel's attempts. We are eager to bring to justice those who harmed our Druze people – protecting their rights is at the top of our priorities."
