Democrats Chairman Yair Golan addressed the possibility of forming a government with the ultra-Orthodox and said that "true partnership requires mutual responsibility. Unlike Netanyahu, we will not go as far as Bnei Brak or Mea Shearim. Whoever wants a partnership with us will have to meet us in Ramat Gan. We need to draft the ultra-Orthodox, the middle class cannot continue to bear the economic and security burden alone. While we respect the ultra-Orthodox way of life, we expect them to respect ours as well. We are extending a hand with a genuine desire to form a government of change. Under no circumstances are we giving a blank check."
