Israel Police Commissioner Danny Levy said at the Outstanding Officers ceremony that he will 'ensure officers receive their ranks.' Levy addressed the recent clash with National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, who froze rank promotions until after the elections. 'We promoted the best people we have. There is full confidence in the appointment and placement process, and anyone who knows me knows I wouldn't have put these ranks forward otherwise,' he said. 'The entire discussion was genuine, correct and obligatory, and I promise those who were promoted that we, together with the commanders, will ensure these ranks are delivered.'
