Hezbollah chief: 'We've prepared for a long confrontation – threats to kill me are worthless'

|
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem delivered remarks amid escalating tensions in the north and on the occasion of Iran's 'Jerusalem Day,' claiming the terror organization is 'conducting a legitimate defense battle to confront Zionist aggression.' According to him, 'We warned there is a limit to our patience, and we revealed that conditions are ripe to confront the enemy. We learned lessons – diplomatic solutions have failed.' He threatened that 'we have prepared ourselves for a long confrontation and they will be surprised on the battlefield,' and also mocked threats to assassinate him: 'Netanyahu's death threats against me are worthless.'
