The Police Internal Investigations Department yesterday questioned three Border Police officers under caution, on suspicion of offenses including vehicle theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and abuse of authority. According to the suspicion, during a patrol in the Jerusalem periphery, the three noticed a parked car with keys inside. Without any legal authority, the three drove it, causing damage to nearby vehicles, until they abandoned it without reporting to their commanders. The vehicle has not yet been located. At the end of their interrogation, the three were released under conditions prohibiting them from entering police facilities for 15 days.
