The IDF has published its investigation into the battle that took place on October 7 in Moshav Yated, located in the southern Gaza envelope region in the Eshkol Council. Ten terrorists were detained within the community - five of them the day after the attack - and one managed to escape. The investigation highlights the bravery of the local security team and residents who acted quickly and engaged the terrorists, alongside the efficient functioning of the community emergency team - thus preventing harm to residents. According to the investigation, the security team and residents quickly apprehended terrorists who infiltrated the community, while outside on Route 232, IDF forces led by the Paran Brigade commander repelled dozens of terrorists who were on their way to Yated.
