Ilana Cohen, the legendary chair of the Israeli Nurses and Caregivers Union, has died at the age of 82. For more than three decades, she vigorously led the professional union of nurses and spearheaded significant revolutions in the status and working conditions of workers in the nursing sector in Israel.
