The National Cyber Authority has informed government websites that they must stop using the ID card issuance date as an authentication method in their systems and recommended switching to more advanced methods, as it is a "static, exposed and accessible detail that does not meet international information security standards and constitutes a serious vulnerability in digital identification systems." The Authority's recommendations for secure identity verification include authentication through applications that generate real-time one-time codes or technologies like Passkey; or authentication using digital signatures, biometric identification (face, fingerprint) or advanced encryption to protect information.
