IDF: 1,200 ultra-Orthodox responded to draft orders, 422 enlisted - 98 to combat roles

The head of the IDF's Personnel Planning and Administration Division, Brig. Gen. Shai Tayeb, updated the State Control Committee in the Knesset that out of 1,200 ultra-Orthodox men who reported following draft orders they received, 422 people have actually enlisted so far, with 98 of them in combat roles.
