An IDF soldier in training was seriously injured earlier today at a military base in southern Israel. The soldier was evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital and his family has been notified. Following the incident, the Military Police launched an investigation, after which the findings will be submitted to the Military Prosecutor's Office for review. The soldier was apparently injured as a result of self-inflicted gunshot.
