President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal met with representatives of the Coalition of Service Organizations - which unites more than 18 organizations working to enact a "real draft law" - who "presented their activities in all arenas aimed at easing the unbearable burden currently placed on the shoulders of male and female service members, and ensuring the integration of all population segments in state service. They emphasized to the President that the draft crisis is an issue that transcends the boundaries of social and political discourse, and poses a substantial security threat to the functioning of the IDF and national resilience.
