The Movement for Quality Government stated following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's announcement about appointing Major General (res.) David Zini as the head of Shin Bet that it constitutes "a violation of integrity and rule of law." The movement added that "the Prime Minister's decision to appoint Zini is tainted by conflict of interest and is an improper and illegal decision." Additionally, the organization announced that it "will use all legal tools to ensure the appointment of a Shin Bet chief in accordance with proper administrative procedures."
