Following the decision to postpone the tender for construction of over a thousand housing units in the E1 area until after the elections, Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara will allow those who wish to submit bids to do so, but the envelopes will be opened after October 27 as she originally instructed. The E1 construction plan is intended to connect Ma'ale Adumim to Jerusalem and would thereby sever the territorial continuity between Ramallah and Bethlehem.
