Father and son from Susya charged with attacking Palestinian family and soldier

The State Prosecutor's Office submitted an indictment to the District Court in Beersheba against Gad Luski (66) and his son Shem Tov (25), residents of the settlement of Susya in the southern Hebron Hills, on suspicion of attacking a Palestinian family in their home and threatening family members with a firearm. According to the charges, Shem Tov broke into the Palestinians' home and confronted them after suspecting they were involved in setting fire to a forest near his home. A soldier patrolling the area entered the location with Shem Tov's father, and when he tried to separate the parties, the son attacked him while the father provided cover with a weapon. The two were charged with aggravated assault and trespassing, and Shem Tov was additionally charged with assault.
