Russia and Ukraine conducted a prisoner exchange in which 303 prisoners of war returned to each country. This is the third and final day of the prisoner exchange agreement between Russia and Ukraine, which was reached following direct negotiations between the countries in Istanbul earlier this month - resulting in 1,000 prisoners returning to each country. The exchange took place on the same day Russia carried out its largest air assault on Ukraine since the beginning of the war, in which 12 people were killed.
