Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said ahead of Russia-Ukraine negotiations scheduled for Thursday in Istanbul, Turkey, that 'I invited U.S. President Donald Trump to the talks - he has not yet confirmed his attendance.' He noted that he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara, and if Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives in Istanbul - he will proceed there. According to him, 'if the talks fail - it's a sign that Russia is not interested in diplomacy, and in such case the U.S. and European Union should impose sanctions on Moscow.'
