Iranian media reported that Kamal Kharrazi, head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, who also served as the Islamic Republic's foreign minister from 1997 to 2005, died from his wounds after being critically injured in an Israeli-American attack about a week and a half ago. According to reports in Iran, Kharrazi's wife was killed in the strike that targeted their home in Tehran.
