Prof. Zohar Shavit, Israel Prize laureate in culture and art research, has died at age 74. Her funeral will be held on Friday. Shavit was professor emerita and founder of the master's degree program in culture research of children and youth at Tel Aviv University. In 2025, Shavit was selected as Israel Prize laureate in culture and art research.
