Iran threatens: If power stations are attacked, entire region will be in darkness

|
A senior Iranian source told the news agency that Pakistan continues to convey messages between Tehran and Washington, but claimed that "the U.S. has not changed its tone." According to him, "There are no negotiations with the U.S., which wants Iran to surrender to pressure, and we will show flexibility when the U.S. shows flexibility on its part." He added: "The U.S. wants the Strait of Hormuz reopened, Iran will not open it in exchange for 'empty promises.' If the U.S. attacks Iran's power stations, the entire region and Saudi Arabia will be in complete darkness. And if the situation gets out of control, Iran's allies will also close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait."
