Anat Angrest at Jerusalem protest: 'Government must put deal on table to bring hostages home'

|
Anat Angrest, mother of kidnapped soldier Matan, said at a demonstration in Jerusalem outside the Prime Minister's Office that "My child was taken from me in the biggest failure of the State of Israel. For a year and 10 months we have tried to be statesmanlike, to believe statements saying 'we are doing everything.' You have failed." Angrest added: "The government needs to put a comprehensive deal on the table that will bring all 50 hostages home together, to end the war in exchange for the last hostage. A year ago they told us that military pressure saved the hostages, and then six were murdered because of that same military pressure. That's what will happen now too."
