EU Imposes New Package of Sanctions on Russia

|
The European Union has imposed a new package of sanctions on Russia, marking the 17th round since the outbreak of war with Ukraine in 2022. The new sanctions target approximately 200 oil tankers intended to 'circumvent' existing sanctions against Russian oil exports, according to EU Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas. Among the entities added to the blacklist is an Israeli company that assisted Russia in producing critical components for military systems, including drones.
