Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in his office with several of the flight heroes from Dubai – Yaniv Hayon, Or Perdilov, Dr. Shota Mosiyev and his wife Sigalit. The Prime Minister's Office stated that Netanyahu 'heard their harrowing testimony about the struggle with the stabbing terrorist and saving the plane, and told them that with supreme courage, resourcefulness and faith they prevented a major disaster and saved many lives.' He also told them: 'The whole world sees Israeli courage. You will light a torch of civilian courage on Independence Day.'
