Hamas declared it will not disarm until "a fully independent and sovereign Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital" is established.
The terrorist organization issued the statement, according to them, "in response to reports by several media outlets quoting American envoy Steve Witkoff, claiming that the movement expressed willingness to disarm."
Meanwhile, Hamas condemned Witkoff's visit to the Gaza Strip, claiming that "his visit to aid distribution centers is nothing but a pre-planned staged show designed to mislead public opinion, polish Israel's image and provide it with political cover."
